American Lending Center (ALC) has been approved by the Texas PACE Authority (TPA) as a qualified capital provider for the Texas Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. This marks the first state in which ALC has been formally approved to provide PACE financing services.

The Texas PACE program enables commercial and industrial property owners to access long-term financing for eligible energy-efficiency and water-conservation improvements. Administered by the nonprofit Texas PACE Authority, the program follows the standardized โ€œPACE in a Boxโ€ model adopted statewide to support consistent technical standards, independent third-party review, and uniform implementation across participating counties and municipalities.

โ€œThis approval represents an important milestone for ALC as we expand our support for businesses pursuing energy- and water-saving improvements,โ€
said Scott Thompson, ALCโ€™s Chief Lending Officer. โ€œPrograms like PACE can strengthen local economies, reduce operating costs for property owners, and contribute to meaningful long-term community benefits.โ€

PACE financing allows property owners to repay project costs through a voluntary property assessment, enabling improvements without up-front capital. Qualifying upgrades can include high-efficiency HVAC systems, water-conservation technologies, lighting modernization, and other building improvements that meet state-established technical standards.

PACE programs are designed to help communities modernize commercial building systems, reduce utility load, encourage investment in local infrastructure, and support job activity in construction, engineering, and service sectors. A uniform framework like Texasโ€™ PACE in a Box enables scalable adoption across both urban and rural regions.
